Morgan Kim - Chapter Head of Crescenta Valley High School LHMBD

I’m a pretty outgoing person and some of my favorite hobbies include cheerleading, making art, baking, and hanging out with friends. In my childhood I would often see my brother, who has Epidermolysis Bullosa, go in and out of hospitals because of his condition. I would see him suffer after basketball games or even playing in the summertime for too long. Many times, doctors would be unsure of what EB was, or did not have a helpful solution for him. This showed me that other people out there, not just my brother, were also suffering from conditions or illnesses that many people did not know about. That’s what inspired me to help create this organization. I want to shine light onto issues that are not recognized enough in today’s world.

I lead and coordinate all chapter activities at CV High including our annual volunteer sign up drives, and the card writing campaign. I also work on this website and assist with all activities during our clothing sale days including advertisement, display and clean up.

Fun fact about me: My favorite animal is a Golden Retriever.
