This past summer, out organization had the amazing opportunity to attend the Debra Care Conference and host the kid’s rooms. There were a variety of rooms available to the kids including the arts and crafts room, movie room, play room, video game room, and even a baby room for the younger kids. Throughout the four days, our members led each room, while interacting and forming bonds with the children there. We attended many Debra hosted events such as the karaoke night, and also the masquerade ball. One of our members, Bowen, was also on a panel of speakers to talk about how he dealt with his EB. This was such an eye opening experience for all of our members, and we had a blast! Thank you Debra!
